Knowledge Development Workshop: Promoting Decent Work in Global Production Systems in Asia and the Pacific The ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in collaboration with the Policy Integration Development convened a knowledge development meeting entitled with Promoting Decent Work in Global Production Systems (GPS) in Asia and the Pacific. It embraced four sessions like overview of Global Production Systems (GPS), thematic and sectoral issues, the ILO experience and lessons learnd and initiatives by other relevant institutions. Participants from research institution, government and non- government organization and headquarter and regional offices of ILO made thematic presentation in these sessions. Dr Liu Kaiming, the Executive Director of ICO was invited to make a presentation on the thematic of “ Migrant and GPS”.
